Crime Stoppers Safe School Hotline

Crime Stoppers provided the Sheriff’s Office with these banners to place at Okeechobee County schools. The Crime Stoppers Safe School Hotline seeks to ensure that students have a safe environment for studying and learning by making their school campuses safer. Crime Stoppers Safe School Hotline is an anonymous telephone hotline students can use to provide information on crime. These crimes include but are not limited to: possession of guns or other dangerous weapons, possession of narcotics/alcohol, fights, extreme bullying, threats of terrorism, gang activity, robberies, sexual assaults, arson, battery, vandalism and bomb threats. The 2018 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics will be on Friday, April 20, 2018. Following the run that morning our (“world famous”) BBQ Ribs, cooked by none other than Sheriff Noel E. Stephen (like I said, our “world famous” ribs), will be on sale. You can get advanced tickets for lunch or buy a lunch that morning. Each year we have goody bags for the Special Olympic Athletes.
