Appreciation

Several days ago Sheriff Noel E. Stephen received a call from a frantic mother who stated that her two year old son was locked inside her vehicle. Deputies Ryane Ammons and Joey Hall heard the call and responded. Upon arrival, they found the child in the car that was not running. Within minutes the car was unlocked and the little boy was reunited with his mother. The child was unharmed. In appreciation for responding so quickly and being able to rescue her son, she baked the deputies some cookies to show her appreciation. Pictured L-R Cpl. Max Waldron (accepting Deputy Hall’s cookies) and Deputy Ryane Ammons. Great job Ryane and Joey! Michele Bell, PIO

THE TDC is not a supplemental or advanced driving course, it is a defensive driving program that covers various topics including teen crash facts, drug and alcohol use, aggressive driving and road rage and evasive maneuvers, to name a few. Two students that displayed their driving skills were Hannah Ferrell and Emily Rhodes. Congratulations to all the students that completed the course! Be safe. Michele Bell, PIO
