National Drug Take Back Day

Saturday, October 22, 2016 was National Drug Take Back Day. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. On Saturday, a total of 19 pounds were turned in. Over the last year 128.9 pounds have been surrendered to the Sheriff’s Office.
