2017 WORLD SERIES

Congratulations to the Darlings and Angels!Both teams made it to the 2017 World Series in Sumter, South Carolina and played their hearts out.To the girls, Okeechobee is so proud of each and every one of you for not only playing well but also your outstanding sportsmanship. To the coaches, you have been great influences on all the girls. You have helped each one to grow, both as a player and in their overall level of confidence.To the parents, I know how challenging it is to stay engaged in the lives of our children. Life is demanding and there is almost never enough time to get everything done; but, being involved in your child’s sports is arguably one of the most important roles we play as parents.Way to go girls!!!Michele Bell, PIO
