Reference: REWARD OFFERED FOR MISSING BULLS
On October 29, 2010, Deputy Sheriff Michael Hazellief was dispatched to a complaint on Highway 78 West, Okeechobee, Florida, in reference to stolen cattle. Upon arrival, Deputy Hazellief met with the complainant who advised that he was missing 10 Angus bulls and between 50-75 Angus/Angus Brahman mix cattle. Leads have been given as to vehicles seen on the property weeks prior to this date however, no arrests have been made. All of the bulls and cattle are branded. A picture of the brand is as follows:
At this time, the owner is offering a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this theft. If you have any information regarding this case, contact Deputy Michael Hazellief at (863)634-5225 or (863)763-3117.
Sheriff Paul C. May said of the theft, "If any member of the public can help with this case, you will remain anonymous. Hopefully, someone saw something, no matter what your tip, we will follow it Up."
